Commonwealth Associates With Otumfuo’s Peace Initiatives — Ayorkor Botchwey
Commonwealth Secretary-General Her Excellency Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey has praised Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for placing peacebuilding at the heart of his illustrious reign.“His peace initiative is well documented and as a Commonwealth we associate with the initiative,” she stated.
She made these remarks on October 23, 2025, when the Otumfuo Commemorative Gold Coin was presented to the Commonwealth Secretariat in London.
